He's the amazing person who created Chirpy Gourmet, and his big goal is to bring families like yours all around the world closer through cooking and reading. Robert does everything for the Chirpy books! He writes every single adventure, invents all the delicious recipes, and even does all the cooking, baking, and takes all the beautiful pictures you see in the books.
From A Little Chef to Pastry Pro!
Robert has loved cooking ever since he was a little kid. Can you imagine loving something so much that you decide to go to a special school for it? That's what Robert did! He went to a really famous cooking school called the Culinary Institute of America. That's where he discovered just how much fun (and how creative!) baking, desserts, and pastries can be. After graduating, he became a Pastry Chef and made amazing sweet treats for over 20 years!
A Dash of Art and a Pinch of Passion
Besides being a fantastic chef, Robert also loves taking pictures. He started learning about photography when he was a young adult and has been studying it ever since. That's why the food in Chirpy's books looks so good – Robert makes the recipes and then takes all those mouth-watering photos himself! His biggest wish is for you and your family to enjoy reading Chirpy's adventures and, of course, have a blast cooking together!
